The department of Mechanical Engineering had conducted a one-month Internship training program on Altair Hyper works from 10th March to 10th April 2021 through the Centre of Excellence Laboratory. This program was conducted for final year Mechanical Engineering students to bridge the gap between institutions and Industries.
The inaugural function was conducted on 10th March 2021 in the Centre of Excellence Laboratory. The function started at 10.30 am in the Centre of Excellence Laboratory. Dept of Mechanical Engineering, RRCE, Bengaluru. 22 students were registered for the Internship program and among them 21 Students from our institution and 1 student from another institution. About conference flow:
National Conference started with the inaugural function 10.00Am on 18th August 2021, with all the dignitaries and the keynote speaker. After the inaugural function, NCVCS-21 chief guest Dr. M. GIRISH CHANDRA, gave talk on Skills required for the next generation. After the inauguration followed by tea break, morning sessions started in parallel in virtual mode. The event Kalasourabha-2021 was diligently organized. There was a soul to it. A soul that was
vibrant, contagious and exuberant.
With management’s permission, Team Kalasourabha decided to conduct Kalasourabha 2020-21 online and preparations were well planned. It all started with conducting interviews for selecting coordinators who had zeal and passion to be the organizers of this one of its kind online Fest. Many meeting were conducted with faculty and student coordinators to chart down the process of conducting the event. Finalizing the events list and forming the main coordinators consisting of 10 members who would lead the team was also formed. For each and every event 2 faculty coordinators
and 4 student coordinators were nominated. Committees were framed to decentralize the work and rules and regulations were discussed online over google meet and other online platforms. Banners and posters were made using few online posters making software’s and were published in whatsapp groups and in Microsoft teams to reach all students. Google forms were used to register students for various events. Sufficient time was provided for all students to decide and plan, so that any student can participate in more than 5 events. 2 categories were made namely live events and ongoing events to make sure that time and events did not clash while students participate in more than 2 events.
Wide publicity of the events was given by broadcasting committee. Overwhelm support from participants was seen through the registration process. More than 1000+ registration for various events was seen in a span of 15 days. Organizing committee requested principal and management to conduct inaugural function offline. Film actors Srujan Lokesh, Manu Basavaraj, Suman had sent their wishes through videos.
Broadcasting coordinators prepared YouTube link for the inaugural function and was live telecasted.
Link was shared to all participants, students, staffs and faculties to witness the event online.

As per the directions from the Ministry of Education and AICTE, International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2021 and is being conducted since its inception from 2015. The function started at 12.30 pm in the CTDS hall, Ground floor, RRCE, Bengaluru. More than 147+ students and faculties participated in the Yoga day. The participants list is enclosed. The yoga was conducted through online and offline mode simultaneously.
Resource Person Profile: International Yoga Champion and esteemed alumni Smt. Sameeksha was invited as Resource person / Trainer through online for this function. She being International Yoga Champion along with her students demonstrated yogasana and pranayama to the staff and students online. She being an esteemed alumni of our college, studied B.E in Mechanical Engineering (2010-2014). List of her achievements are mentioned below:
