Healthy Body Healthy Mind (HBHM) seminar was conducted and to provide knowledge and also an incorporating on healthy diet and exercise instruction is an integrated evidence-based program with meditation and mindfulness strategies, and comprehensive psycho education. So the outcome of the seminar is to improve the physical and mental health of those with a mental illness
The annual Green day was celebrated on 23 April 2018 at Raja Rajeswari College of Engineering in an instructive way where the students aware about the importance of green and how it positively effects in our lives. The campus buzzed with a series of activities like creative plantation, nature drawings, poster making etc.
Attractive charts and drawings were displayed in the office lobby and the highlight of this celebration was Creative plantation. It was done in waste things like plastic bottles, bowls, old shoes etc . Specially it gives an idea how to utilize our surroundings /small area beautifully with green.
As a part of the day plantation was done in the college premises. It was headed by the Principal Dr. R Balakrishna, Prof. Prabhakar and all Heads of the departments.

Objective of this program is to create awareness among students to Identify and create awareness of hazards and risks. Initiate measures for risk reduction, accident prevention and mitigation.
In this camp 320 college students were participated, NSS Programme Officer, NSS Members and 50 NSS Volunteers are actively participated and gained awareness about medical emergencies.
RRCE NSS Unit Organized the NSS Camp – Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Program at KAMBIPURA VILLAGE, Bengaluru, Karnataka on 19th OCT 2018 between 10.00 AM and 4.00 PM.
Objective of this program is about an improvement in the general quality of life in the rural areas, by promoting cleanliness, hygiene and eliminating open defecation.
In this camp NSS Programme Officer, NSS Members and 48 NSS Volunteers are actively participated, clean the temple premises like main road, parking area and Temple Park etc. The NSS volunteers have sensitized the village people on hygiene maintenance of houses and surrounding areas also how to maintain cleanliness to avoid mosquito generation & disease spread in the village.
To Commensurate the Golden Jubilee year of NSS, A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized at the RajaRajeswari College of Engineering, through National Service Scheme Unit Headed by Dr. Ananda Kumar K S, Associate Prof, Dept of ISE, NSS Programme Officer and Youth Red Cross wing headed by Dr. Vishwanath K C, Associate Prof, Dept of ME, Youth Red Cross Coordinator on 23rd Mar 2018 where in Lions Club of Bangalore South along with the, RRMCH Blood Bank, Narayana Hrudayalaya Blood Bank, Rastrottana Blood Bank, Red Cross Blood Bank, have participated. As many as 350 students and faculty have participated in 7th Voluntary Blood Donation Camp. 185 units of blood are collected in the campaign.

RajaRajeswari College of Engineering organized Graduation day for the batch of 2021 on 3rd & 4th December, 2021. Around 650+ Graduands and their proud parents attended the ceremony batch wise by following all COVID protocols to celebrate their success.
The Inaugural function was held on 3rd December, 2021 at RajaRajeswari College of Engineering, Bengaluru. The esteemed Chief Guests are, Sri. Srinath Reddy, Associate Vice-President & Head Semiconductors Business Unit, Sasken Technologies Ltd, Bengaluru; Sri.Mahesh Shastry, Chief Executive officer, Flynava Technologies, JNC Road, Koramangala, Bengaluru and Dr. Muthuveerappan N, Associate Director Gas Turbine Research Establishment, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India.
Dr. T. Chandrashekar, Principal RajaRajeswari College of Engineering addressed the gathering and highlited vision mission and Academic achievements of the college. Principal In his report he said, “RajaRajeswari College of Engineering has been in the forefront of academic excellence. Living up to the noble vision of its founder Dr. A. C. Shanmugam, the college strongly believes in the concept of holistic education and strives to achieve its mission of preparing students to meet the challenges posed by the twenty-first century.”
The Chief Guest addressed the Batch of 2021, along with the Parents and Faculty, congratulating them on their achievement and he stated to continue the learning and cultivate the right attitude to work as a team and help each other. When opportunities hit you, the success will come your way through dedication and hardwork. Final advice to the Graduands was “Be Kind, work hard and never stops being curious”. At the end, Chief Guests give away special endowment medals and Degree certificates at the ceremony.
Out of the 653 graduating students who received their degrees, 7 students got toppers award from each department and Mr. SANDEEP from the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering recieved Gold medal as overall college topper.

A clean and green environment always calms our minds and helps us to reduce stress. While
conducting the event, everyone followed the preventive Covid measures.
The event had in attendance, Heads of Departments across the faculties of the college. The committee was represented by the principal of RRCE, Dr. T Chandrashekar and faculties along with the all staff members.

Green Club have taken the initiative to make our campus as Green and Clean by plantation.
Medicinal Garden: The college has developed medicinal Garden in the campus to provide a valuable knowledge of various properties of medicinal plants to the students and staff. We know that many plants have medicinal properties but we never tried to plant it in our surroundings. It is well known from historic times there are a number of plants available nearby which cure effectively a lot of medical problems without side effects at a very low cost and at the same time to enhance the understanding of students regarding importance of Nature. Keeping this in mind, the college
developed a garden of medicinal plants and planted a variety of medicinal plants in the campus.
Several plants like Holbasil, Bhirangaraj, Aloe vera, Bryophyllum, Turmeric, Catharantus roseus,
and many more were planted in order to support and appreciate the GO GREEN initiative.
Sadbhavana day was organized at RajaRajeswari College of Engineering, through National Service Scheme Unit on 20 -08 – 2020.
Sadbhavana literally means “Good Feelings” or “Good Will”. The main theme of Sadbhavana is to promote good will, national integrity and communal harmony among the people of India irrespective of caste, creed and religion. The theme is promoted by taking “Sadbhavana Day Pledge”.

Objective of this program is to improve the general quality of life of village people by sensitize them on maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and eliminating open defecation.

Objective of this program is to sensitize the students, faculty members and NSS Volunteers of our RajaRajeswari College of Engineering about our mother nations freedom struggle and how our freedom fighters and people organize various movements such as non cooperation movement. The father of our Nation “Mahatma Gandhiji” lead the freedom fight by uniting our people with the slogan of ” Vande Mataram”. Later it became the theme song of the Indian national movement.

Department of #CIVIL, RajaRajeswari College of Engineering #RRCE, RajaRajeswari Institution Innovation Council (#RRIIC), and EDC – Bengaluru jointly organized “Innovative and Environmental friendly building Competition”on Monday, 20th September 2021. Students of RajaRajeswari College of Engineering has participated and presented their projects. The Modelling Competition of Innovative and Environmental friendly building Competition was done under the guidance of Dr.V.Ramesh (HOD) from the Department of Civil Engineering. In these Modelling Competition Ms.Praphulla.B.R. 1RR19CV418 has secured 1st prize, Ms.Deepika.K, 1RR20CS027 has secured 2nd prize, Ms.Prakruthi R 1RR18CV0038 and Ms.Thanushree. V 1RR19CV425 has secured 3rd prize. They received the prize money, shield and certificates from Dr.T.Chandrashekar, Principal, RajaRajeshwari College of Engineering during the function held on 23rd September 2021 at CSE seminar hall. Students were given insight about culture of startup, who is interested in startups and building their career in the same.
Outcome of the Program:
The attempts were made by the creative club to create something new and allow the students to think, develop and explore the ideas digitally.
Best out of waste:
The competition focused on bringing an understanding among the students about preserving the environment by reusing and recycling waste material. Fantabulous ideas were demonstrated using material like newspaper, old CDs, used plastic bottles, ropes, ice cream sticks, bangles, shoe boxes etc.
Where the participants were given 60 min time to create a product and students have to explain the design and usage of the product.
Ideathon:
An ideathon is a short, intensive, workshop-like experience for students to address some of the most pressing challenges of our time. Participants work in teams and use design thinking and innovative learning practices to ideate and collaborate on possible solutions.

Students have to choose a topic and present the idea within 30min, the idea was presented in painting, few through quotes and few through essay.

Campus communities need a place to come together, now more than ever. The activities from in-person to virtual settings in light of the COVID-19 crisis, campus event organizers are looking for new ways to engage students digitally.

Letters for building words:
The participants have to spelling out alphabets (as in a contest) with the use of only those letters found in a particular word or phrase within the stipulated time. The winner was announced based on the highest number of words identified and phrased the sentence from the identified words.
Memory matching game.
Matching games improve language, concentration and memory, improve concentration, train visual memory, increase short term memory, increase attention to detail, improve the ability to find similarities and differences in objects, help to classify objects that are grouped by similar traits.
where the participants were given 60 seconds to rapidly answer a series of questions which decided the winning three teams of the event.

Covid 19- How to overcome the present scenario:
Ideations are intensive brainstorming events where individuals from different backgrounds, skills and interests converge to diagnose predefined problems, identify the best opportunities and ideate the most viable solution.
The event was made even more fun and interesting when the audience was giving the answers.

With thousands of mantras encouraging women’s existence every day, a special day is indeed a necessity to celebrate women’s achievements in all aspects of life. Whether she’s a teacher, homemaker, economist, engineer or pioneer, women have been making the world a better place with their infinite strength, determination and belief. With power enough to shatter the shackles of patriarchy, women are rising above societal hurdles every single day, making them a stronger force to reckon with, in modern times.
This year we Rajarajeswari College of Engineering celebrated ‘International Women’s Day’ on 8th April 2021 with a great significance.
Dignitaries in their speech welcomed all the ladies to the special occasion of Women’s day Celebration.
Dr. Sukanya Hegde spoke about the significance of women’s day celebration and the presence of a woman which has given a strong impact in everyone’s life. She tell one story about how to live a value added life and they gave one Formula for savings.
One of our esteemed alumnus Ms. Amulya V spoke about her experience in develops one company and the problems faced during this pandemics. She also talk on how to achieve our goals and continue our fashion of life.
The function followed with cultural, Games and more programs with a refreshing lunch. Function concluded with a great delight from all the women who witness the celebration.
