All students gathered in their class two hours before the start of the Women Empowerment Program to begin their preparations. While some students were involved in setting up materials and organizing the classroom, others engaged in discussions and brain storming sessions on the topics they would present. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with every one participating enthusiastically and contributing their ideas. There was a sense of camaraderie and mutual support as students worked together, ensuring everything was ready for the event.
The program commenced with staff members from various departments visiting to observe and engage with the students. The interaction between the students and staff was dynamic and insightful, with teachers expressing their excitement and appreciation for the students’ efforts. The program featured presentation son various aspects of women empowerment, including inspirational stories, discussions on gender equality, and the importance of education for women. The event was are sounding success, with every one involved feeling inspired and motivated by the end of the session.

The event was conducted Afternoon on 23rd of October, 2024 where 3rd year Electrical and Electronics Engineering students took part for the event Craft Presentation.
Art is typically more focused on aesthetic expression, using media like painting, sculpture, photography, and digital mediums to convey an artist’s perspective, emotion, or commentary. Fine art, for instance, is often meant to provoke thought or convey a deeper meaning rather than serve a functional purpose.
• Craft: Craft focuses on creating items that are both beautiful and functional, often through skilled techniques passed down through generations. Examples include pottery, weaving, quilting, and woodworking. Craft emphasizes hands-on skills and often involves specific materials and traditional methods.
• Cultural Significance: Art and craft often reflect cultural identities and values. In many societies, traditional crafts symbolize heritage and tell stories passed down through generations. For example, Native American pottery patterns reflect tribal
histories, while Indian embroidery and fabric designs showcase regional diversity and traditions.

Objective: This Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition – "On Spot Shark Tank" by
the IDEA Club of Dept. of ECE, RRCE, is a competition aimed at fostering innovation and
entrepreneurship among budding engineers of RRCE (First year B.E. students). This event offered
participants the opportunity to pitch their startup ideas in front of a panel of judges, similar to the
popular "Shark Tank" show. Competitors have to present their ideas and get feedback from the
panel members.
Total number of participants: 102 students of First year B.E.
Event Outcomes:

  • Participants enhanced their knowledge of Innovation, Teamwork and presentation skills.
  • Students were given opportunity to upskill them in entrepreneurial thinking and help participants refine

On September 21, 2024, the Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE) at RajaRajeswari College of Engineering (RRCE), Bangalore, celebrated Engineers Day with an event focused on the theme “Innovation for Society by Engineers: Past, Present, and Future.” The celebration commenced at 10:00 AM in the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Conference Hall and featured a keynote address by Dr. Ashok Rao, a former professor at IISc, Bengaluru.

The event began with an invocation song performed by B.E. students from the 7th semester, followed by the lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to Sir M. Visvesvaraya, honoring his significant contributions to engineering. Dr. Sreenivasa Murthy, Head of the ISE department, delivered the welcome address, and Dr. R. Balakrishna, the Principal of RRCE, provided the presidential address. Dr. Dharani T, an Assistant Professor in the ISE department, introduced the chief guest to the audience.

Dr. Ashok Rao’s keynote address highlighted the evolution of engineering and its enduring impact on society, offering valuable insights into the future of innovation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. J. Amutharaj, Vice Principal of RRCE and President of the RajaRajeswari Institution Innovation Council (RRIIC), followed by the National Anthem, marking a successful celebration of Engineers Day.

18th March 2024 with a great significance.

Participants- All Ladies Staff of the Rajarajeswari Group of Institutions (Teaching faculty,
Non Teaching Faculty, Office staff, Group-D and Students)
Dignitaries in their speech welcomed all the ladies to the special occasion of Women’s day
Celebration.
Dr.PremaDhanraj, Chief Guest spoke about the significance of women’s day celebration and
the presence of a woman which has given a strong impact in everyone’s life.

Chief Guest was felicitated by Chair person, Principals, Vice Principal, Women
Empowerment Chairperson of RRGI.

The function followed with cultural, Games and more programs with a refreshing lunch.
Function concluded with a great delight from all the women who witness the celebration.
