The objective of the programme is to sensitize the students of 2 nd year and 3 rd year students about the preparations required for Placement during final year Engineering course. So the Placement Orientation Programme jointly organized by ISE dept. & CSI Chapter of RRCE on 24 th January 2024 Wednesday between 10.30 A.M. and 12.30 P.M. Dr P Ebby Darney, HoD – EEE and Vice President – Research, European International University, Paris is the resource person. He has narrated on placement preparation for IT industry, Resume building, Importance of Academic performance and credentials, participation in co-curricular and Extra- Curricular activities for capacity building and personality development, Problem Solving and Aptitude, Experiential learning through mini-projects and Internships and presented the Tips for campus interviews to the 5th semester and 3 rd semester students of ISE dept.

Mr.Vijayalaxmi Joshi, AP – ISE and ISE Department Alumni Coordinator. Around 70 students of II year and III year Information Science and Engineering department have participated. Mr. V. Rohitkumar (2018 – 2022 ME Alumni), Founder of Ds Province Entrepreneur & Event Management successfully completed more than 200 events leading a team called 'Prerana' which is a part of an NGO – Youth For Revolution since 2018. Mr. V. Rohitkumar, Alumni 2022 batch has narrated on his Success story of Start up founder & Entrepreneur. He shared his experience & challenges faced as a business man & entrepreneur in Bangalore. He has guided the students on challenges faced by young entrepreneurs and start up
founders. After the interaction with the students, the resource person was honoured with Memento as a token of

The event started with the welcoming of the alumnus Ms. Arptiha R, Infosys by Dr.J.Amutharaj, Professor and
HoD – ISE & RRCE Alumni Association coordinator Dr. Savitha B.
Around 75 students of II year and III year Information Science and Engineering department participated in the
Alumni interaction programme.
Ms Arpitha R (2016 – 2020 ISE Alumni), Senior System Engineer, Automation Testing Division, Infosys
Technologies, Bangalore interacted with 2nd, 3rd & 4th year ISE students. She has narrated the need for latest
technology up-gradation, Self learning, and importance of Academic performance and Communication Skills for
getting placement in IT industry and also for career progress. She has shared her experience as a System
Engineer and Senior System Engineer in Infosys Technologies.
She has stressed the importance attending placement training programmes organized by the college and
department and self learning of latest programming languages for software development which make the fresh
engineering student to stand unique among others.
She has narrated on current technological developments in the IT industry and the interview tackling techniques.
Finally she told the students, how strong an engineer would stand by utilizing the resources in the college
Students have given the feedback to organize such events to get more exposure to present requirements and
have a relationship with the Alumni members of ISE Department and RRCE.
After the interaction with the students, the resource person was honoured with the Memento a token of
appreciation. Mrs. Vijayalaxmi Joshi, Alumni Association coordinator of ISE Dept., Mrs. Rathidevi T, Asst.
