The world environment day is celebrated on 5th June 2023 to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth. It is a day that reminds everyone on the planet to get involved in environment friendly activities. People come together to pledge towards building a greener planet.

Keeping this aim in view, NSS & GREEN CLUB Unit celebrated World Environment Day on 5th of June 2023. Students of various branches from department participated and celebrated world environmental day enthusiastically. They were asked to plant a sapling to create a green corner. A lot of enthusiasm was seen in the students. The event was conducted successfully with whole hearted participation and awareness about plants.

RajaRajeswari College of Engineering celebrated Green day on 05/06/2023, Monday at RRCE campus. Go green is a step to conserve our nature and lead eco-friendly life, which will help us as well as nature to sustain the natural resources for future generations. A clean and green environment always calms our minds and helps us to reduce stress.
Mr Devaraju V, Deputy conservator of forest, Ramanagara territorial division Govt of Karnataka chief guest as planted tree in campus and narrated how forest department is taking initiatives to maintain natural ecology in the forest and nearby regions.

The event had in attendance, Heads of Departments across the faculties of the college. The committee was represented by Principal, Vice Principal, faculty members, NSS Volunteers Participated in this event Plantation: ‘ Let’s nurture the nature so that we can have a better future’, So we the group of RRCE Green Club and NSS have taken the initiative to make our campus as Green and Clean by plantation. Around 380 Students participated in the World Environmental Day Celebration.

Sadbhavana day was organized at RajaRajeswari College of Engineering, through National Service Scheme Unit on 21-08-2023.
Sadbhavana literally means “Good Feelings” or “Good Will”. The main theme of Sadbhavana is to promote good will, national integrity and communal harmony among the people of India irrespective of caste, creed and religion. The theme is promoted by taking “Sadbhavana Day Pledge”.

Outcome of the program:
The purpose of Creative Club is to make College environment more creative and interesting. The club focuses on churning out different ideas from students which in turn helps in enhancing their individual thinking and perspective. Selecting the best idea and implementing that, helps in improving learning, decision making, imagination, collaboration and teamwork among students. Creative Club helps students to enhance their creative skills.
Ice breaking:
Ice-breaking activities can increase solidarity between participants. It is possible that the participants do not know each other. With this ice-breaking activity, the participants can get to know each other. Most importantly, doing ice-breaking activities can train our concentration. Memory matching game.
Communication game:
The goal for this game is to teach participants how to communicate well without using words. Non-verbal communication is essential in the workplace, as it allows people to better understand each other in a group. The larger the team, the more effective this activity can be for them.
Memory games:
Memory games can improve your memory, attention, focus, processing speed, and problem-solving skills. They can also reduce your stress, enhance your mood, and increase your confidence. By playing memory games, you are stimulating your brain cells and strengthening the connections between them.
Action Pass On:
The leader is the one who picks 2-3 movements and passes them to the next person. Everyone keeps their eyes closed except the players who are passing the movements. At the end, the last player shows everyone the movements they got to see if they match up with the original.

Outcome of the program:
Campus communities need a place to come together, now more than ever. The activities from in-person to virtual settings in light of the COVID-19 crisis, campus event organizers are looking for new ways to engage students digitally. The attempts were made by the creative club to create something new and allow the students to think, develop and explore the ideas digitally.

Letters for building words:
The participants have to spelling out alphabets (as in a contest) with the use of only those letters found in a particular word or phrase within the stipulated time. The winner was announced based on the highest number of words identified and phrased the sentence from the identified words.

Memory matching game.
Matching games improve language, concentration and memory, improve concentration, train visual memory, increase short term memory, increase attention to detail, improve the
ability to find similarities and differences in objects, help to classify objects that are grouped by similar traits. where the participants were given 60 seconds to rapidly answer a series of questions which decided the winning teams of the event.

A Parent-Teachers Meeting was conducted on 22-09-2023 from 10:00 AM – 12.00 Noon in the Department of MCA, RRCE.
The parents were intimated through the student official groups well in advance through class teachers and mentors.

  • 15 parents are attended this meeting.
  • Interaction between Parents, Class Teachers, Subject Teachers and Mentors was done. There was a discussion on student’s performance in individual subjects, students discipline in classrooms and their attendance percentage.
  • Mr. SujeethPawar and Mr. Pavankumar B K parents were happy with the way the department was conducting academically.
  • One parent also enquired what kind of placement arrangements are done for their ward.
  • The Class Incharge Mr. Shreedhar Kumbhar, Dept of MCA discussed in detail about the Previous Results, Academic Calendar, Internal marks and their last working day.
  • He also stressed that if parents and students had any difficulty, they can contact the faculty and the Department anytime.

maintain hygiene and cleanliness in houses and surrounding areas to avoid mosquito generation and avoid spread of diseases in the village.

  • The event started with welcoming the alumnus for the event by HoD-CSE Dr.S Usha and Alumni head Dr. Savitha B, Department Coordinator Ms. Manasa GV Kumar, Pre final year students of Computer Science & Engineering students participated.
  • Around 110 students from Computer Science & Engineering participated in the event. He went through all the mistakes he came across in his engineering life that let him down and later told about the moral support he got from his mentors that made him stand in this position today.
  • He let us knew about the importance of why when and how to concentrate on placement trainings helping in getting placed with highest LPA that makes us stand unique among others. He later guided us regarding the points where we all go wrong in this peculiar and precious engineering life.
  • He even told us about the Resume building and the interview tackling techniques, finally he told us how strong an engineer would stand if you would utilize engineering period as a serious one and lead our life to success. Students have given the feedback
    to organize such events to get more exposure to present requirements and have a relation with passed out alumni.
  • After the interaction with the students, the resource person was honored with Memento as a token of appreciation to conclude the event.

Management recognized service of the employees of teaching and non teaching staff and felicitated them.

With power enough to shatter the shackles of patriarchy, women are rising above societal hurdles every single day, making them a stronger force to reckon with, in modern times.
