Dr.. K.C. Vishwanath is currently working as Professor in the Department of Robotics and Automation. Since 2013, he has worked in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His professional experience in the field of Academics, Research, and Industry is 14 years. His expertise is primarily in Computer Aided Engineering Drawing, Theory of Elasticity, Theory of Plasticity, Experimental Stress Analysis, Design of Machine Elements, Tribology, Finite Element Analysis, Foundry Technology, and Mechatronics. He has completed his Diploma from VISSJ Govt. Polytechnic in the year 2006, bachelor’s degree at SJCIT, Chickballapur in the year 2010 and master’s degree in Machine Design at BIT, Bangalore in the year 2013, and Doctor of Philosophy in Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum in the year 2018. He has coordinated 5 National Conferences, 15 Industrial visits, 15 Seminars, 15 FDP’s, 7 Workshops and 8 orientation Programs at RRCE. He has published 13 research papers in International/National Conferences and 16 research papers in International Journals. He has guided 15 UG Projects. He is Guiding Three Research Scholar in Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi. He has prepared the Laboratory Manual for the Design Lab, Robot Programming and Simulation Lab and the Center of excellence.

He is an active Life member for various technical societies such as:

• Life member in Institution of Engineers (IEI-INDIA).
• Life member in Indian Science Congress (ISC)
• Life member in Technical Institution of Engineers (TIE).
• Life member in American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ISC)

Mr. Madhusudhana M is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, RRCE since August 2023. He has teaching experience of 10 years. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree at PES College of Engineering, Mandya in the year 2008 and his Master’s Degree in Machine Design at SJCIT, Chickballapur in the year 2011. He has attended 15FDPs, 9Seminar and 4 orientations Program RRCE. He has Published 3 Research papers at International and National conferences. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in VTU Belagavi.

Dr. N. Sreenivasalu Reddy is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Robotics and Automation. He has a teaching experience of 22 years. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from JNTU, Hyderabad in Mechanical Engineering in the research area of Fluid flow and Heat transfer.
He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree at KIT, Tiptur, Bangalore University in the year 1999 and his Master’s Degree in Thermal Power Engineering, PDACE, Gulbarga, VTU, Belgaum, in the year 2004.
He worked as a researcher, on more than 15 research-funded projects supported by KSCST, IIsc, Bangalore. His field of interest is heat exchangers, refrigeration systems, computational fluid dynamics, solar energy, thermodynamics, and alternate fuels. He published more than 20 papers in national and international journals and conferences.

Dr. Radhakrishna R. K. has been serving as Dean – IQAC and Associate Professor in the Department of Robotics and Automation at RRCE since 2011. He brings 16 years of professional experience, including 15 years in academia and 1 year in industry. He was awarded his Ph.D. in January 2024 from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). He completed his Master’s degree in Machine Design from University BDT College of Engineering in 2010 and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Tontadarya College of Engineering in 2008.

His areas of expertise include CAD, CAE, and Natural Fiber Composites. He has published 6 research papers in Scopus-indexed journals, 4 papers in international conferences, 4 papers in national conferences, 3 papers in international journals, and 1 paper in a national journal.Additionally, he holds 3 Indian patents.

Dr. Radhakrishna is a recognized Research Supervisor under VTU and is currently guiding one research scholar. He has successfully guided more than 25 undergraduate projects and has organized and conducted Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, seminars, and
industrial visits. He is a life member of the Indian Society of Mechanical Engineers (ISME).

Mr. Dhananjay B.S is currently working in the Department of Robotics and Automation as Assistant Professor. He has worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at RRCE since August 2009. He has total experience of 21 in teaching. He has obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from PES College of Engineering, Mandya, in the Year 2001 and Obtained Master’s Degree from PES College of Engineering, Mandya in Computer Integrated Manufacturing in the year 2007. He has guided 15 UG projects and attended 6 workshops, 1 National level conference, 6 FDP.

Sub. Lt. Dr. Thanuj Kumar M. presently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Robotics and Automation since 2024, having transferred from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. In his tenure of over 13 years at RRCE, he has held various positions ranging from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor si nce 2010. Prior to his academic role, he accrued 3 years of industrial experience, including roles as a Quality Engineer at HAL Light Combat Aircraft (LCA-LSP) Division for 1½ years and as an Application Engineer at Greenesol Power Systems Pvt. Ltd. for another 1½ years.
Initiating his teaching career as a lecturer in 2005, Dr. Thanuj possesses over 18 years of extensive teaching and research involvement across several esteemed engineering institutions in Bengaluru. He earned his Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in polymer composites from VTU and M.Tech degree in Manufacturing Science and Engineering in 2007 from Ghousia College of Engineering, Ramanagaram, both under VTU and also obtained his B.E. degree in 2002 from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.
He underwent Pre-Commissioned Military Training at Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Kamptee, Nagpur, achieving the honorary rank of Sub Lieutenant. Additionally, he serves as an Associate NCC Officer at RRCE, heading 1 Karnataka Naval unit NCC.
His academic contributions include the publication of 16 research papers across international and national journals and conferences. He has received recognition through various awards, including the National Eminent Educator Award 2020 by the International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR), Certificate of Recognition by The Academic Council of “uLektz” as one of the Top 50 Directors or Coordinators of IQAC across India for the year – 2019-2020, Best Professor in Mechanical Engineering Award for the year 2018-19 from Karnataka Educational Awards by Yes Trust and Appreciation Award from the A. C. Shanmugam, Chairman, Rajarajeswari Group of Institutions (RRGI) for the year 2016-17.
He plays an active role in editing journals and serving on editorial boards, contributing to journals such as Journal of Mechanical Robotics, Journal of Advancements in Material Engineering and Journal of Recent Activities in Production as Editor in Chief. He is the member of editorial board of the following national journals like Innovations in Mechanical Engineering and Technology, Advanced Journal of Machine Design, Innovative Research in Mechanics and Machines.
He has organized numerous national conferences, workshops, seminars, FDPs, and expert lectures, as well as guided over 70 UG students in their academic projects.
Moreover, he has undertaken administrative responsibilities, such as coordinating accreditation processes like NAAC and NBA, and representing management for ISO Certification programs. He has also been involved in various college and departmental activities, including cultural events, ERP coordination, and internal administration.
