Brief Profile

Mrs. Prutha G is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She completed her B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from East West Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, and M.Tech. in Power Electronics from RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics.

She has more than 7 years of combined experience in academics and industry. Her areas of interest include Power Electronics, Electric Vehicles, Wireless Power Transfer, Renewable Energy Systems, and Power Systems. She has actively contributed to teaching, research, student mentoring, project guidance, accreditation activities, and institutional development.

She has handled various administrative responsibilities such as Placement Coordinator, Internship Coordinator, Electric Vehicle Club Head, Women Empowerment Coordinator, Skill Lab Coordinator, Website Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, Cultural and Sports Coordinator, Magazine Coordinator, and NBA/NAAC Criteria Coordinator. She has successfully guided numerous student projects, including KSCST-funded projects, and has published several research papers in reputed international journals and conferences.
