Brief Profile

Dr. T.C. Manjunath was born on 6th Feb. 1967 in Bangalore. He did his BE from RV College of Engg., Bangalore Univ. in 1989 with First Class, ME in Robotics and Automation from the Govt. LD College of Engg. in 1992 with First Rank – FCD from Gujarat Univ., Ahmedabad and PhD in Systems and Control Engg. from IIT Bombay in the year 2007. He is currently working as the Dean Research, R and D and as Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in IoT, Cyber Security and Blockchain Tech since 2 yrs. in Rajarajeswari College of Engg., Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. He has got a teaching, academic, research and administrative experience of more than 37+ years with 10 years as Principal, 8 yrs as Professor – HoD and 17 yrs as faculty. He has published more than 2000+ research papers in various national and international journals, conferences, with Scopus (2500+ citations, 520 documents) with google scholar (9000+ citations, h-index of 33+, i10 index of 300+), 200+ patents, 100+ book-chapters, 25 awards, published 25 text books in various field of science, engineering and technology, completed funded research projects worth Rs. 10 Crores till date apart from having guided 11 PhD scholars (currently 5 going on), 25 PG Students, more than 200 UG students towards their project works. He is a member of 30 Professional Society Chapters and is a fellow of IE, IETE, AMIEE and a chartered engineer. He got the best research scholar award in 2006 in IIT Bombay amongst all the research scholars of the institute.
