Brief Profile

Deeraj C is an accomplished academician, technology professional, entrepreneur, mentor, and innovation leader serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Rajarajeswari College of Engineering (RRCE), Bengaluru. He holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and is pursuing his Ph.D. in the area of “IOT and Missiles Technology” and emerging technologies. His professional expertise includes Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, Industrial IoT, Product Engineering, and emerging technologies, with a strong emphasis on practical and industry-oriented learning.

He has guided 160+ IoT and AI-based student projects across MCA, CSE, ECE, EEE, and R&A departments. Under his mentorship, a student project secured ₹14 lakh MSME funding, another was selected for the AICTE National Level Inventors Challenge 2024, and a project received funding from KSCST, Government of Karnataka. He has also organized IoT Project Expos, innovation activities, technical workshops, and hands-on technology programmes.

Deeraj is the Founder & CEO of Dot Blur EduTech, incubated at RRCE, and serves as an AICTE IDEA Lab Main Trainer, Caretaker Officer (CTO), NCC Army Wing, 6 Karnataka Battalion, and Sports Secretary at RRCE. Through these roles, he actively promotes innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship, technical education, and student-driven product development.
