Rajarajeswari College of Engineering, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS), celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on 31st October 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The occasion commemorated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, fondly remembered as the Iron Man of India, whose visionary leadership and unwavering determination played a significant role in the political integration of India.
The programme highlighted the importance of national unity, integrity, harmony and the spirit of togetherness. It encouraged students to understand their responsibilities as citizens and contribute towards building a united, peaceful and progressive nation.
Through this celebration, the NSS unit reinforced the values of social responsibility, national integration and collective participation, inspiring students to uphold the ideals of unity in diversity.
The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment to preserve the unity and integrity of our nation.
