Green Roots, Bright Future – Plantation Program 2026
On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Green Club of Rajarajeswari College of Engineering (RRCE) successfully organized “Green Roots, Bright Future – Plantation Program 2026” on 5th June 2026 at the RRCE Campus.
The program was conducted with the objective of promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and the importance of preserving natural resources. Students, faculty members, NSS volunteers, and Green Club members actively participated in the plantation drive by planting saplings across the campus.
The initiative reinforced the message of environmental responsibility and encouraged participants to contribute towards building a greener and healthier future. The event reflected RRCE’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation.
The program was organized under the guidance of Dr. R. Balakrishna, Principal, coordinated by Dr. Pruthviraj R. D., Green Club Coordinator, and Prof. Chandru B. V., NSS Program Officer.
The plantation drive concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and a renewed commitment towards protecting the environment for future generations.
