The Five Day Faculty Induction Training Programme for Young & New Faculty Members is jointly organised by RajaRajeswari College of Engineering (RRCE) and Dr. A.C.S. College of Engineering (ACSCE). The programme is designed to equip newly recruited and early-career faculty members with the essential knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required for excellence in higher education.
The programme focuses on strengthening teaching and learning practices, effective classroom management, outcome-based education (OBE), curriculum planning, student mentoring, research and innovation, institutional development, and professional ethics. Sessions were delivered by experienced academicians and experts from premier institutions, giving participants practical insights into modern pedagogical approaches, academic leadership, and faculty responsibilities.
The training also emphasised communication skills, emotional intelligence, guidance and counselling, quality assurance practices, and career development strategies, enabling faculty members to confidently contribute to academic excellence and institutional growth.
