The Department of Robotics & Automation at Rajarajeswari College of Engineering (RRCE), Bengaluru successfully organized a 5-Day Workshop on Robotics from 21st May 2026 to 26th May 2026 at the Robotics Lab, RRCE Campus.

The workshop was conducted with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to Robotics, Automation, Embedded Systems, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies through hands-on learning and industry-oriented training sessions. The sessions were led by Ms. Ashwini Tirkey, Lead Program Mentor, M/s. InUnity Private Limited, Bengaluru, who shared valuable industry insights and guided students through various practical applications and project-based learning activities.

Throughout the workshop, participants explored:
Fundamentals of Robotics & Automation
Embedded Systems Design
Microcontroller Programming
Circuit Prototyping
IoT-based Applications
Real-time Project Development

The primary outcome of the workshop was to provide participants with a solid, hands-on foundation in embedded systems design, microcontroller programming, and circuit prototyping. Students gained practical skills to independently build, code, and debug automated devices, robotics systems, and Internet of Things (IoT) projects.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and served as an excellent platform to enhance innovation, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills in emerging technologies.

RRCE continues to promote experiential learning and industry interaction to prepare students for future technological advancements and career opportunities in Robotics & Automation.
