Overview

The Science & Humanities departments have been effectively functional. The S&H departments stands focused to its Ideals in imparting knowledge and preparing the students towards achieving academic excellence through the acquisition of core competence in language skills, and in the field of mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The course curriculum is periodically upgraded to suit the requirements of different engineering.

The Department of Science and Humanities(S&H) at RRCE, Bangalore is highly focused on imparting quality education to meet the global challenges of science and technology. The department plays a vital role in laying the strongest foundation of Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics.The Department consists of highly experienced, talented and dedicated faculty members of whom many hold Ph.D degrees from reputed universities and few are pursuing their Ph.D. Some of the faculty members are actively involved in research and have publications in reputed international and national journals and conferences. Some UG, PG and Ph.D students are involved in research projects under their guidance.

To serve as a forum for enriching the knowledge of the students in humanities and sciences arena, to excel in engineering education that would bridge technology and society.

MISSION

The Department of Humanities and Sciences seeks to lay a strong foundation in basic sciences and basic engineering, besides developing competency in English language skills and also to mould the freshers into wholesome personalities through enriching and motivational programmes and thereby assisting them realize their inner potential and the commitment to society.
