ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
GNM:
1. Age should be between 17 to 35 years
2. Should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent, preferable with physics, hemistry and biology subjects with an aggregate of 45% marks.
Basic B.Sc-Nursing
1. Should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete this age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
2. Should have passed the two year pre-university examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
3. Should have obtained at least 45% of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination, if belonging to S.C or S.T. should have obtained not less than 40% of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination.
Post Basic B.sc –Nursing
1. Hold a certificate in GNM
2. Be a registered nurse.
3. Have minimum of 2 years experience.
4. Have passed pre-university examination in the Arts, Science/Commerce or its equivalent, which is recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore, Karnataka.
M.sc –Nursing
1. Have passed Basic B.Sc. Nursing/post Basic B.sc Nursing degree of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore or any other University accepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore, Karnataka.
2. Have a minimum of 1 year of experience after obtaining Basic B.Sc Nursing, in hospital or nursing Educational institution or community health setting needed after graduation.
3. For post Basic B.Sc. Nursing no such experience is needed after graduation.
4. Must be a registered nurse and registered midwife.
